What you will do
- Design and own security integrations (WAF, RASP, API Security, IAST, SCA) primarily in .NET and Java.
- Develop production-hardened code that instruments thousands of applications.
- Monitor production telemetry and debug complex cross-system issues.
- Define OKRs and drive RFCs for security library roadmaps.
- Collaborate with PMs, backend, and frontend teams to implement new capabilities.
- Mentor teammates and improve overall code quality and testing standards.
Requirements
- Expertise in .NET (C#) or Java and polyglot ability to contribute to other languages.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals for modular and maintainable code.
- Experience building and shipping libraries or SDKs with a focus on versioning and compatibility.
- Ability to measure and optimize performance (time and space).
- Strong communication skills for driving alignment via RFCs.
- BS/MS/PhD in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of JVM/CLR internals and bytecode instrumentation.
- Experience with other languages: Go, Node, Python, Ruby, PHP, C/C++.
- Application security background (WAF, RASP, SAST/IAST/SCA).
- Experience with APM, distributed tracing, or open-source maintenance.
- Experience with AI-assisted developer tools or agentic workflows.
