TL;DR

Director of Enterprise Risk Management (Governance): Leading the design, coordination, and oversight of the Bank's risk governance infrastructure with an accent on regulatory liaison, policy management, and third-party risk oversight. Focus on scaling governance routines, managing regulatory examinations, and ensuring compliance across all banking operations.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Draper, UT or Lincoln, NE. This is a hybrid role requiring 24 hours per week onsite.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000

What you will do

  • Direct the Bank's risk governance infrastructure, including committee administration and policy management.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for banking regulators and examiners.
  • Lead the coordination and quality review of materials for regulatory examinations and inquiries.
  • Manage the Bank's Issues Management program to ensure timely resolution of audit and exam findings.
  • Facilitate the New Product Working Group to ensure risks are identified and addressed prior to launch.
  • Oversee adherence to Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programs and vendor lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in risk management, governance, audit, or compliance within banking or financial services.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a direct point of contact with banking regulators (e.g., OCC, FDIC).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for Board and regulatory presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and certifications (CRCM, CRMA, CTPRP, PMP) are a plus.
