What you will do
- Develop assistive 3D tooling using geometry methods, implicit representations, and neural rendering to automate technical artist tasks.
- Partner with 3D modelers and environment artists to identify and optimize high-friction steps in the asset creation pipeline.
- Define and execute rigorous evaluations for 3D results, ensuring geometric accuracy and game-readiness.
- Monitor and integrate advancements in 3D ML and neural rendering that meet production and runtime constraints.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and mentor junior team members to deliver impactful ML solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with a focus on ML/AI.
- 5+ years of experience applying Machine Learning to real-world 3D problems.
- Deep expertise in 3D ML, including mesh/geometry methods, SDFs, NeRF, Gaussian splatting, and differentiable rendering.
- Proven record of state-of-the-art contributions via peer-reviewed publications or shipped production systems.
- Proficiency in Python, C, C++, or C# and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.
