What you will do

• Own the architectural view of the Payments & OTC portfolio, maintaining clear system maps and domain models.
• Author high-level designs and review technical designs produced by engineering teams.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to shape scope, sequencing, and architectural constraints.
• Drive payment orchestration and settlement architecture to ensure repeatable, scalable integrations.
• Guide client-side architecture for payment experiences, including mobile migration to Flutter.
• Champion AI adoption within design workflows and help teams apply AI-assisted capabilities effectively.

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting consumer-facing, high-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in backend architecture, including event-driven systems, microservices, and API design.
• Proven experience with payment systems, including orchestration, settlement, and bank integrations.
• Strong ability to influence without authority and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in regulated markets with a focus on compliance, security, and data protection.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider, ideally AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with OTC or trading systems.
• Experience with Flutter mobile architecture.
• Financial services industry background.
