What you will do

• Lead the design and governance of architectural solutions for complex departmental systems and campus-wide infrastructure.
• Recommend and implement technology initiatives, including platform upgrades, enterprise migrations, and system re-architecture.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cybersecurity guardrails.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks via vulnerability reports and develop remediation strategies.
• Manage portfolio-wide employment access requests to ensure compliance with institutional security policies.
• Mentor technical staff and lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex system failures.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in systems architecture and cybersecurity.
• Must be based in or able to work at the hirify.global Vancouver Campus in Canada.
• Technical expertise in Windows Server administration, PowerShell scripting, and virtualized platforms.
• Proficiency in database-driven, object-oriented programming and complex SQL queries.
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux fundamentals and shell scripting.
• Experience customizing COTS products such as CRM and CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with hirify.global’s enterprise systems.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and privacy compliance frameworks.
