TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (React): Building and evolving data-heavy web experiences for a SaaS platform that analyzes JVM runtimes, detects vulnerabilities, and provides code inventory with an accent on React, TypeScript, BFF development, and scalable reporting interfaces. Focus on designing frontend architecture, implementing retry-safe asynchronous analysis workflows, optimizing large datasets with virtualization and pagination, and integrating Node.js services with Java-based backend APIs.

Location: Prague, Limassol, or Serbia; hybrid workplace with full remote possible

What you will do

Develop and maintain frontend features in React and TypeScript.
Own features end-to-end across the UI, Node.js/Fastify BFF, asynchronous jobs, and Java backend integrations.
Design frontend architecture, state boundaries, API contracts, and BFF endpoints for UI-specific data shaping.
Build retry-safe and idempotent BullMQ workflows for long-running analyses, with clear status reflected in the UI.
Optimize data-heavy reporting views using virtualization, pagination, progressive loading, and backend aggregation.
Collaborate with backend, product, data, design, and QA teams through technical discussions, planning, and code reviews.

Requirements

7+ years of frontend development experience with strong React and TypeScript skills.
3+ years of Node.js experience with a framework such as Express or Fastify.
Experience owning production frontend features end-to-end and designing API integrations.
Strong understanding of frontend performance, scalability, virtualization, pagination, and progressive loading.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, debugging, code quality, and collaborative development.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

Experience with Vite, BullMQ, analytical or columnar data, and data-heavy reporting interfaces.
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude CLI, Claude Code, or similar tools.
