IT Risks & Control Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Act as an embedded risk partner for engineering and technology organizations to identify risks and design scalable controls.
• Own and continuously improve the IT risk and control framework, including system scoping and risk assessments.
• Lead IT SOX readiness through walkthrough preparation, evidence review, and remediation oversight.
• Design and enhance ITGCs across user access, change management, SDLC, and system operations.
• Assess IT application controls and the accuracy of system-generated information used in business processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors to align on scope, evidence expectations, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• At least eight years of experience in IT risk, IT controls, IT SOX, or technology assurance.
• Meaningful in-house technology ownership experience is required (pure advisory/external-audit background is insufficient).
• Strong practical knowledge of SOX 404, ITGCs, COSO, and COBIT.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, IAM, DevOps, CI/CD, and container orchestration like Kubernetes.
• Strong written and verbal English (C1 level).
• Ability to work across international time zones.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CIA, or CPA.
• Experience building IT SOX frameworks in listed or pre-IPO technology companies.
• Experience in AI infrastructure, large-scale SaaS, or fintech environments.
• Familiarity with GRC tools like Workiva, Jira, or ServiceNow GRC.
• Exposure to AI governance and ML control environments.
