What you will do

• Monitor and analyze potential threat activity targeting the enterprise through 24/7/365 surveillance.
• Lead efforts in Incident Handling (Detection, Analysis, Triage) and Threat Hunting for anomalous patterns.
• Analyze IT security events to distinguish legitimate security incidents from non-incidents.
• Utilize SIEM platforms and log management systems for log collection, correlation, and alerting.
• Implement countermeasures and mitigating controls within the enterprise network environment.
• Conduct malware analysis and research emerging threats to recommend monitoring content for security tools.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start; must be able to attain CI Polygraph.
• 2+ years of related experience in computer network defense operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, network routing protocols (BGP, MPLS), and common OS (Windows, Linux, OS X).
• CSSP Analyst, Auditor, or Incident Responder certification (CEH, CySA+, GCIA, etc.) within 6 months of hire.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in ISSO or ISSM roles.
• Experience with SAP (Special Access Programs).
