Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - U.S. Virgin Islands

Location: Remote, US, with office space required in the Virgin Islands area and clients in St. Thomas. ; in-person care delivery is strongly preferred.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, adults, couples, and families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, from mild presentations to complex and severe concerns.
• Use evidence-based treatments such as ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to clinical crises when needed.
• Provide care through a private or group practice, with in-person delivery strongly preferred.
• Use Lyra’s scheduling, billing, consultation, and care-navigation resources to support client care.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted independent license required, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent, with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience providing evidence-based treatment and following clinical best practices, including measurement-based care and skills practice.
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Must be a full-time resident of the United States and have office space available in the Virgin Islands area.
