What you will do

• Design algorithms using modern theory and software best practices to solve complex customer problems.
• Convert customer requirements into functional, scalable software solutions through the full lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Lead the architecture of sub-systems and contribute to overall system architecture decisions.
• Develop and execute software tests to ensure full compliance with project requirements.
• Manage and mentor a small team of software developers, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to drive technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5-10 years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance (Secret clearance preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience working within an Agile development environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C/C++.
• DevOps skills, including experience with Docker or Podman.
