What you will do

• Create textures using photographic references, digital hand-painting, and procedural workflows.
• Paint stylized textures based on concept art using Substance 3D Paint and Photoshop.
• Develop procedural textures using Substance 3D Designer.
• Author and modify materials using PBR principles, including albedo, reflection, and subsurface scattering.
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Supervisors to maintain visual style and deliver impressive results.
• Stay updated on artistic methodologies and technological trends to improve the creative environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in VFX or animation industries.
• Proficiency in Renderman and/or Arnold rendering engines.
• Experience with Substance 3D package and/or Mari.
• Strong knowledge of UV creation and layout.
• Experience managing large scenes, complex environments, and demanding sequences.
• Location: Based in Madrid, Spain

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Houdini, Solaris, or Katana.
• Knowledge of USD and/or OSL.
• Experience with vegetation workflows (instances and scatters).
• Understanding of displacement workflows.
• High English proficiency and Spanish language skills.
