What you will do

• Identify, recruit, and develop high-impact content across translational and clinical research.
• Oversee the peer review process to ensure scientific rigor, fairness, and efficiency.
• Select expert reviewers and provide thoughtful guidance to authors for an excellent experience.
• Commission and edit Reviews, Perspectives, and other front-matter content.
• Contribute to the journal's editorial strategy and its positioning within the Cell Press portfolio.
• Represent the journal at international conferences and through institutional visits.

Requirements

• PhD, MD, or equivalent in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline.
• Previous editorial experience is required.
• Broad interest across translational and clinical research and strong critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team.
• Must be based in one of the specified office locations (UK, Netherlands, or China).
