What you will do

• Manage and optimize large-scale data operations and big data technologies.
• Develop automation scripts and deployment pipelines to streamline SOC operations.
• Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT processes for data management and security.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve complex technical incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure high availability.
• Contribute to the strategic development of SOC platform engineering and data security initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in big data and platform engineering within a cybersecurity context.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed compute systems.
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
• Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Data Science or related field.
• Cloud-related certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Application Developer (CKAD).
• Experience with GitOps processes (Argo CD, Flux CD).
• Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
