Lead SOC Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Manage and optimize large-scale data operations and big data technologies within the SOC.
• Develop automation scripts and automate deployments, system configurations, and routine maintenance.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes, data collection strategies, and data security controls.
• Monitor SOC solution performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Support architectural discussions and apply standard design patterns for platform and DevOps solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure data availability, quality, and continuous SOC process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in big data and platform engineering within a cybersecurity context.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, operating systems, APIs, distributed compute, and big data technologies.
• Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps tools.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills, plus proficiency in SQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of data management and security principles, with strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Cloud architecture certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• CKA, CKAD, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, LPIC, or similar certifications.
• Master’s degree in data science or a related field.
