What you will do

• Lead incident response efforts for malware, phishing, and digital forensics.
• Design, develop, and evaluate new corporate security controls for a rapidly growing business.
• Perform threat hunting through log sources to identify and mitigate emerging threats.
• Implement security alerts and workflows to support the full incident response lifecycle.
• Secure corporate IT infrastructure, including identity providers, endpoints, and networks.
• Deploy and operate security tooling with a focus on measurable impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a similar field.
• 3+ years of experience in security engineering or incident response within a tech company.
• Strong experience with Crowdstrike, Splunk, or similar security monitoring tools.
• In-depth understanding of attacker tools and techniques and how to detect them.
• Location: San Francisco based.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Okta, and Google Workspace.
• Experience securing endpoints using MDM tools like Kandji or Intune.
• Engineering mindset with scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Powershell.
