What you will do

• Investigate complex cases involving phishing, blockchain exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, and money laundering.
• Produce insightful reports and deliver briefings to customers.
• Conduct long-term research on on-chain crime categories to generate actionable intelligence.
• Develop solutions to scale TRM's investigative capabilities rapidly.
• Identify and manage relationships with industry partners to expand attribution sources.

Requirements

• Must be based in North America (USA, Canada, or Mexico).
• 3-5+ years of combined experience as an investigator or analyst in the private or public sector.
• Practical experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis.
• Proven ability to brief senior stakeholders within an organization.
• Experience in seizing stablecoins.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and prioritize critical issues.

Nice to have

• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate research and pattern identification.
