What you will do

• Manage daily security intake across alert queues and Slack, acting as the primary point of contact for security operations.
• Investigate and resolve end-to-end security events involving cloud/SaaS alerts, malware, and supply chain issues.
• Analyze telemetry from endpoints, identity systems, and network DNS to build timelines and assess impact.
• Convert recurring investigative patterns into durable automation, refined detections, and better triage workflows.
• Lead incident response efforts, including scoping, containment, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify structural security gaps and advocate for permanent fixes over temporary workarounds.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in detection and response, incident response, or security engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS and Kubernetes security fundamentals, cloud-native logging, and Linux systems.
• Strong SQL skills for analyzing large and complex telemetry datasets.
• Practical knowledge of attacker TTPs across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Established AI development workflow.
• Ability to work independently across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with threat intelligence and threat hunting.
• Expertise in malware analysis and forensic artifact collection.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop automation or AI-assisted investigation systems.
