What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure for data workloads using IaC.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform and data product deployments.
• Implement lakehouse and serving layer patterns to support analytics and ML workloads.
• Apply security, governance, and compliance controls across the platform.
• Monitor platform health and lead performance tuning and incident response.
• Manage platform costs and execute FinOps optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, or DevOps specifically for data platforms.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and IaC tools such as Terraform or CDK.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tooling and pipeline development.
• Understanding of lakehouse concepts, data ingestion patterns, and serving architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting, combined with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model based in Nottingham, UK.
