What you will do

• Lead the architecture and evolution of AI/ML services, platforms, and lifecycle capabilities.
• Translate complex mission requirements into scalable AI/ML architectures and implementation strategies.
• Define MLOps standards, reusable patterns, and best practices across engineering teams.
• Architect automated pipelines for model training, validation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Design secure and reliable model-serving platforms for both batch and real-time inference.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to incorporate access control, auditing, and governance requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and active DoW Secret (or higher) clearance are strictly required.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or data science.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and commonly used AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale, production-grade AI/ML systems.
• Expertise in establishing CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS SageMaker, MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Ray, or Feast.
• Knowledge of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, or foundation-model operations.
• Experience building AI/ML platforms in secure, regulated, or classified environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
