What you will do

• Analyze customer and mission requirements and define technical specifications.
• Perform requirements flowdown to subsystem and equipment levels using DOORS.
• Define and design space system architectures and perform trade-off analyses.
• Coordinate technical aspects of subsystems, internal projects, and subcontractors.
• Support system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and verification planning.
• Write test specifications and evaluate results for requirements verification.

Requirements

• Completed Master's degree or Diploma in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, specification preparation, and system architectures.
• Proficiency in interface management.
• English: Good skills required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybridly in Bremen, Germany.

Nice to have

• Practical experience in Exploration, Space Safety, or Space Transportation domains.
• Good German language skills.
