What you will do

• Lead production solution delivery for customer technical projects, including reference architectures, data ingestion, and ML/AI model integration.
• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end big data and AI applications for strategic customers, working with engagement managers to scope delivery.
• Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
• Embed with customer teams, engage stakeholders from technical ICs to executives, and drive measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with Databricks engineering, project management, and customer support to deliver engagement components and feed back product/implementation learnings.
• Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to scale impact across accounts and influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering / full stack development.
• Comfort writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with two or more.
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark runtime internals.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments and working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
• Ability to travel to customers (20% of the time).
