What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create automated UI, regression, smoke, integration, API, and end-to-end test suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps to support continuous delivery.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to define effective automation strategies and execute database validations.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test generation, debugging, and documentation.
• Mentor teammates and promote automation best practices across the engineering team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Proven experience in API Test Automation and designing automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and experience with Git.
• Must be based in South America.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience with SQL, database testing, or cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Mobile automation testing experience (iOS/Android) or ISTQB certification.
