Compensation: £55,000 – £60,000

What you will do

• Design and implement endpoint and identity security controls, including CrowdStrike and Entra ID/Intune configurations.
• Manage network security delivery, including Netskope deployment, zero-trust access design, and firewall configuration.
• Oversee physical and technical site security for the Winnersh Triangle facility, including access control and CCTV systems.
• Translate ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus requirements into actionable technical controls.
• Build and mature detection and response capabilities as a first responder.
• Collaborate with security vendors and manage pentest remediation efforts.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Winnersh/London, UK.
• Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR platforms like CrowdStrike or Sophos.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and zero-trust access tools.
• Strong understanding of network security fundamentals, including firewalls and VLAN segmentation.
• Practical experience implementing ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus controls.
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or life sciences environments.
• Background in IT estate separation or tenant migrations.
• Professional certifications such as CREST, CISSP, or CISM.
