TL;DR
Mid Python Developer (Django/FastAPI): Building and optimizing scalable backend applications for an enterprise talent cloud platform with an accent on high-load event-driven systems and RESTful APIs. Focus on architecture design, system reliability via observability tools, and evolving the Applicant Tracking System.
Location: Remote (Must live in Mexico with a current CURP)

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and FastAPI.
- Participate in architecture definition, database schema design, and the implementation of quality standards.
- Improve system reliability by implementing observability tools including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs while collaborating with product, infrastructure, and QA teams.
- Write clean, documented code covered by automated tests.
- Work on high-impact projects such as event-driven systems, centralized auth layers, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience with Python and 1+ year with Django and/or FastAPI.
- At least 1 year of experience designing software architecture and production service infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).
- English: Minimum B2 level required.
- Location: Must reside in Mexico with a current CURP.
Nice to have
- Experience with Golang or Node.js.
- Knowledge of modern architectures such as Hexagonal, DDD, or EDD.
- Experience working in startups or high-growth agile environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level security practices and standards.
