What you will do

• Design and develop Python services and platform REST APIs.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines and integrations with internal data sources.
• Implement search and AI-powered workflows on top of the platform.
• Build tooling for measuring and maintaining system quality.
• Own service deployment and operations at launch.
• Participate in roadmap planning and architectural decision-making.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and experience building backend services with FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL) and Redis for caching and queues.
• Experience with message queues and background tasks (Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka).
• Knowledge of Docker and working with S3-compatible storage.
• Experience with pytest, PR/code review workflows, and understanding of CI/CD and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG systems, embeddings, and vector databases (pgvector).
• Working with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), prompting, and tool calling.
• Experience with agent frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph.
• Knowledge of LLM evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, deepeval) and prototyping tools (Streamlit, Gradio).
• Familiarity with modern Python tooling (ruff, uv, pyproject.toml, pyright).
