What you will do
- Manage cardholder disputes and report fraudulent transactions to MasterCard/Visa to ensure guideline compliance.
- Oversee departmental adherence to international and CBUAE regulations and manage chargeback account reconciliations.
- Prepare and issue formal communications regarding dispute outcomes to cardholders.
- Validate settlements and billing vouchers while ensuring accurate GL entries within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain and circulate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports to provide progress visibility.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize Straight Through Processing (STP) and digitally enabled banking processes.
Requirements
- UAE National status is mandatory for this role.
- At least 4 years of experience in a Visa/MasterCard/CBUAE chargeback role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing teams or departments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of chargeback rules, settlement procedures, and reconciliation processes.
- Strong business awareness and communication skills.
