What you will do

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and suites using Python and Pytest.
• Create and execute automated tests for embedded software and hardware-software integrated medical devices.
• Validate device functionality, APIs, databases, and end-to-end system workflows.
• Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
• Collaborate with US-based customer teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Track, verify, and report defects and quality metrics.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in test automation using Python and Pytest.
• Background in testing embedded software, medical devices, or hardware-integrated systems.
• Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and system-level verification.
• Knowledge of communication interfaces such as USB, RS-232, and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Must be based in or be able to work from Wroclaw, Poland or Lviv, Ukraine to ensure access to physical engineering labs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Qt/Squish for desktop application test automation.
