TL;DR
System Analyst (Data Warehouse & GCP): Designing and optimizing data warehouse solutions and ETL pipelines for a leading Polish bank with an accent on logical data modelling and GCP integration. Focus on preparing Source-to-Target mapping, designing data flows, and implementing scalable data ingestion processes.
Location: Hybrid (Warsaw), Must be based in Poland (one day per week in office)
Salary: 130–160 PLN net per hour

What you will do
- Analyse and model data pipelines within data warehouse and lakehouse environments.
- Design ETL and data integration processes, specifically within Google Cloud Platform.
- Prepare detailed Source-to-Target Mapping (STM) documentation and specifications for development teams.
- Create logical data models for an operational data warehouse and analyze XSD/XML structures.
- Collaborate with business teams, developers, and testers to define requirements and ensure traceability.
- Translate business and system requirements into clear development tasks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as an IT System Analyst with a focus on data integration and pipelines.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational data modelling.
- Experience designing data warehouse models or working with Google BigQuery.
- Practical experience preparing Source-to-Target Matrices and technical specifications.
- Ability to analyse XML and XSD structures to build relational data models.
- English: B2 level (sufficient for technical documentation) required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of GCP services such as Dataflow, Cloud SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data lakehouse architectures.
- Proficiency with Enterprise Architect, Visio, or similar modelling tools.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services projects.
