What you will do

• Develop and maintain modern fullstack web applications with a strong focus on backend architecture and scalability.
• Design and implement AI-powered features and intelligent workflows for pharmaceutical research.
• Build and operate reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-native services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and architects to influence technical decision-making.
• Implement microservices and event-driven architecture patterns using technologies like NATS.io.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and promote engineering excellence and AI adoption within the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and NestJS.
• Commercial experience with Go or the Python ecosystem (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, pandas, numpy).
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, Prisma, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and IAM/SSO solutions like Keycloak.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher level required.
• Location: Must be based in Albania, Poland, Romania, or Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or scientific research domains.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations in enterprise applications.
• Experience with computational or mathematical modeling platforms.
• Knowledge of R for research or analytical purposes.
