What you will do

• Develop frontend (React) and backend APIs (Node.js) for the in-house AI facial recognition product, including KYC, liveness detection, and face matching flows.
• Collaborate with AI algorithm teams to integrate models into production, building high-concurrency and low-latency online inference services.
• Design and implement secure, stable, and user-friendly KYC verification flows.
• Drive the migration from third-party vendor solutions to a proprietary in-house system.
• Build a high-concurrency request handling architecture featuring caching strategies and queue management.
• Participate in system architecture design, technology selection, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of frontend/fullstack development experience.
• Proficiency in the React ecosystem (hooks, Redux/Zustand, Next.js) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and Redis.
• Experience with high-concurrency, low-latency system design.
• Fluent in Mandarin to collaborate effectively with China-based teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience at AI or computer vision companies (e.g., SenseTime, Megvii).
• Background in building to-C security, identity verification, or KYC products.
• Knowledge of AI model engineering, RAG systems, or AI Agent architecture.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
