Resource Planner (Food Industry)

What you will do

• Schedule field activities, including service interventions, projects, and training, using FSM and approved planning tools.
• Assign engineers based on skills, certifications, availability, and business priorities to ensure optimal execution.
• Analyze workforce capacity, utilization trends, and future demands to identify and mitigate bottlenecks.
• Coordinate the planning and implementation of mandatory solutions (MRKs/AOs) and monitor progress.
• Plan internal training demands according to competence development plans to meet future market needs.
• Manage planning exceptions through established Flex Zone escalation processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a mechanical, electrical, or automation engineer in the food industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of service operations, workforce planning, and capacity management.
• Experience working with planning and scheduling systems such as FSM or SAP.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience within field service organizations.
• Knowledge of hirify.global equipment, service products, and customer operations.
• Experience with outsourcing models and cross-regional resource planning.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and automation initiatives.
