What you will do

• Increase Databricks’ visibility and share of citations across priority AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.
• Design and run a repeatable GEO experimentation program to optimize content structure, schema, and semantic depth.
• Scale the production of deep technical content for GEO/AIO using a combination of AI agents and internal resources.
• Maintain technical health and AI crawlability, focusing on Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site architecture.
• Establish an executive-ready reporting function connecting AI/SEO performance to business outcomes for leadership.
• Develop the Databricks GEO playbook and SOPs to enable cross-functional partners in product marketing and engineering.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of hands-on SEO experience, including 1–2+ years focused on AI search optimization, GEO/AIO, or answer engine strategies.
• Strong technical SEO foundation in site architecture, crawlability, structured data, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals.
• Proven ability to design and run experimentation programs that deliver measurable lifts in search and AI performance.
• Fluency with modern SEO and analytics tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Excellent written communication and editorial judgment for refining AI-generated and human-created technical content.
• Must be based in the United States.
