Sr. Software Engineer - Browser Extension, Data Protection (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel

What you will do

• Design and implement the browser protection suite for Google Chrome and Edge.
• Develop advanced cybersecurity capabilities by leveraging deep knowledge of Chromium internals.
• Own product features throughout the entire lifecycle from initial design to delivery.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and high-level architectural design.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams across different physical locations.
• Respond to and troubleshoot product issues reported by customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building high-performance software products.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expertise in at least two of the following: Node.js, React internals, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Chromium internals.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and handling data securely within extensions.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks and tools such as Mocha, Selenium, or QUnit.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel

Nice to have

• Experience developing browser extensions, email client plugins, or file sync and share web services (e.g., OneDrive, Google Drive, Box).
• Knowledge of and experience with OS internals.
