What you will do

• Lead support for client Azure Data platforms and Power BI environments, managing escalations and analyzing incidents.
• Design and deploy large-scale Databricks Lakehouse architectures, specifically for complex healthcare environments.
• Develop ingestion frameworks, transformation models, and orchestration patterns using Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and create architectural documentation mapping 80–100 source systems.
• Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for code reviews and design patterns.
• Collaborate directly with clients to troubleshoot issues and communicate technical solutions in business terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with the Microsoft BI stack (ADF, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI).
• Experience in a technical support role with a solid understanding of ITIL processes.
• Expertise in Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake patterns, and advanced Spark SQL performance optimization.
• Familiarity with healthcare data sources (Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Health Catalyst) and HIPAA-compliant requirements.
• Must be based in the US; no visa sponsorship available.
