Head of Cyber Security (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Belgrade, Serbia (Relocation support provided)

What you will do

• Define and execute the global cybersecurity strategy reporting to the CISO.
• Lead and develop the Cyber Security team across global operations.
• Oversee Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, and Vulnerability Management.
• Drive Cloud Security, Application Security, and DevSecOps initiatives across the organization.
• Strengthen security architecture and ensure the protection of critical infrastructure and platforms.
• Improve security processes through automation and AI-driven technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical background in Security Engineering, Security Operations, Cloud Security, or DevSecOps.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud environments.
• Expertise in Incident Response, Threat Detection, and Security Architecture.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Belgrade, Serbia.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in engineering organizations.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in fintech, banking, payments, or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, DORA, and SWIFT CSCF standards.
