FP&A Intern

TL;DR

FP&A Intern (Finance): Supporting monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with an accent on building financial models and dashboards and partnering with division heads to drive strategic growth targets. Focus on analyzing actual performance vs budgets, producing recommendations, and delivering ad-hoc financial analysis for country and cross-business segments.

Location: Milan, Italy (based in Milan; start in November)

Salary: 800 EUR gross reimbursement

What you will do

• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting and forecasting.
• Analyze financial performance and work with division heads to achieve strategic growth targets.
• Review actual performance vs budgets, identify variances, and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and the development of financial models and dashboards.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required, including coordination across segments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (completed or in progress).
• Strong project management and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Well-organized with strong analytical skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
• Strong speaking and writing skills, including producing effective presentations for decision making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, SharePoint); VBA is a plus.
• Fluent English (knowledge of French, Italian, or German is a plus).
