Project Controller (Waste-to-Energy)

Location: Milan, Italy; readiness to travel 10–20%

Basic wage component (gross): €53,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and reconcile project budgets and forecasts with project stakeholders in the ERP system.
• Monitor and report on project cost, revenue, cash flow, progress, invoicing, and cash collection.
• Perform variance analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Present project financials to senior management, including V- and C-level executives.
• Support claims and change order management.
• Manage customer bank guarantees and related documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project controlling, including project costing, estimating, and financial monitoring.
• Experience in an international EPC environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of risk and claim management.
• Proficiency in financial data analysis and the ability to provide informed recommendations.
• Familiarity with IFRS, industry best practices, and relevant standards.
• Excellent written and spoken English required. Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills.
