What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend architecture, services, and APIs for core financial products.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable server-side code with emphasis on performance and security.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support mobile and web applications.
• Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer building scalable applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven experience in domain ownership.
• Hands-on experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with fintech, payment processing systems, or PCI DSS compliance.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI tools in everyday development work.
