Fullstack Developer (PHP)

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (PHP/Vue): Developing and maintaining software solutions and a network-wide CMS for a global conservation organization with an accent on scalability and system integration. Focus on building new CMS functionality and troubleshooting system issues for a global user base.

Location: On-site in Hanoi, Vietnam or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Develop new features and upgrade existing functionality for the network-wide CMS.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day system issues and provide technical support to network users.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through industry best development practices.
• Collaborate with the Web Technologies team via daily stand-ups and brainstorming sessions.
• Create technical, functional, and user manuals for software solutions.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with external vendors and partners.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in PHP (or equivalent server-side scripting for CMS) and Oracle databases.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks like Vue.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar.
• Proficiency with Git/version control systems.
• Must possess a valid work permit for the location of employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of ColdFusion, AWS, NGINX, or Tomcat/Lucee application servers.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
