What you will do

• Design and develop standalone and web-based applications integrated with multiple enterprise data sources.
• Partner with systems, network, and security engineers to deliver secure, production-ready capabilities.
• Engage with internal lab and fab stakeholders to gather requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve design quality and engineering productivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced technical environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Proven experience in full-stack application development and system integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and production-quality software deployment.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, lab, fab, or enterprise operations environments.
• Knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, and API integration.
• Experience with database design, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of observability and AI-assisted software development.
