What you will do

• Deliver business-critical web experiences for Minecraft.net ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability.
• Apply modern engineering best practices to build responsive, accessible, and scalable web solutions.
• Collaborate across studio teams to translate product needs into impactful web features.
• Build and optimize instrumentation, experimentation, and personalization for the growth engine.
• Partner with cross-discipline teams to create player-focused experiences that reflect the Minecraft spirit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• 4+ years of technical engineering experience with JavaScript and HTML.
• 4+ years of experience implementing web applications with deep knowledge of web standards and browser behaviors.
• Experience working with service-oriented architectures and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges, including debugging and performance optimization.
• Must be based in the United States (Washington, Redmond).

Nice to have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Knowledge of headless CMS platforms for marketing content velocity.
• Expertise in SEO fundamentals and Core Web Vitals.
• 3+ years of experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
