What you will do

• Develop a deep detailed understanding of die-to-die PHYs.
• Collaborate with analog design, digital design, and DFT teams to create functional and characterization plans for PHY IPs.
• Develop characterization scripts and automate report generation.
• Execute characterization plans and analyze results with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 12+ years of experience, or Master's with 10+ years of experience.
• Programming experience in Python, C, C++, Ruby, or Perl.
• Proficiency with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience with basic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Knowledge of BIST test techniques and experience characterizing DDR interfaces.
• Strong debugging skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RTL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL).
• Understanding of VLSI IC I/O and control fundamentals.
• Experience with data analysis and plotting using Matlab or JMP.
• Basic understanding of communications theory.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Cursor.
