What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end algorithm development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data curation to production deployment and maintenance.
- Select and implement optimal methods, balancing deep learning techniques with traditional statistical and signal processing approaches.
- Enhance internal ML tools and model architectures to improve team efficiency and enable rapid experimentation.
- Ensure high-quality implementations through rigorous testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices.
- Present technical results to stakeholders and support client-facing projects to maximize the impact of deployed algorithms.
Requirements
- Must be based near Paris, France.
- 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, ideally in regulated health sciences.
- Proficiency in PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks.
- Strong background in digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics.
- Experience with software engineering best practices including version control, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both internal and external audiences.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with biosignals, medical imaging, or large time-series datasets.
- Experience with latest deep learning advances such as Transformers or large-scale modeling.
