Blockchain / Backend Engineer - Vice President (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid: Monday-Thursday in office, Friday remote)

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Design and implement private and permissioned distributed ledgers using DAML, Canton, and other open-source frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and senior leadership to scope projects and optimize workflows.
• Stay current with blockchain developments to integrate them into the hirify.global ecosystem.

Requirements

• 9+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.
• 3+ years of technical leadership and management experience.
• Proficiency in DAML, Solidity, or other blockchain programming languages.
• Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, and AWS.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and modeling.
• Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work schedule.
