What you will do

• Lead proactive campaigns and rapid-response communications shaping AI industry news and policy debates.
• Build and maintain relationships with policy press, Hill staff, and third-party stakeholders to advance company priorities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with research, legal, international relations, and policy teams to manage press coverage and events.
• Draft and edit communications materials to make technical AI work accessible to non-technical audiences.
• Monitor and coordinate responses to fast-moving regulatory and geopolitical developments affecting AI policy.
• Represent hirify.global at policy events in Washington, D.C. and globally.

Requirements

• Location: Must work on-site in Washington, D.C., United States
• 7+ years of experience in strategic communication, reputation management, or public affairs.
• Experience driving policy-focused media campaigns and working with government affairs, legal, or technical teams.
• Established relationships with technology, national security, and policy press.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to distill complex AI policy issues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup environment and build new communication approaches.
