Quality Engineer (Microservices)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend validations using C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Validate RESTful APIs, service virtualization, and integration testing across distributed microservices.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to establish continuous quality gates before production.
• Conduct load, stress, and endurance testing to evaluate system behavior and identify bottlenecks.
• Execute backend database testing (SQL and NoSQL/Postgres) to ensure data integrity across services.
• Analyze system logs, metrics, and distributed tracing to troubleshoot failures and monitor microservice health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in software quality engineering.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of: C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience testing Microservice APIs deployed on Kubernetes, including Pod lifecycle and health probes.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and UI automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Must be based in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI-assisted SDLC from a testing perspective.
• Knowledge of security testing concepts including authentication, authorization, and roles.
• Experience improving test strategy, release readiness, or developer tooling.
