Solutions Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Solutions Engineer (AI/Computer Vision): Partnering with customers to translate needs into technical architectures and deploying YOLO-based vision AI solutions with an accent on model optimization and production deployment. Focus on building Python prototypes, designing inference strategies, and owning the technical outcome throughout the customer lifecycle.

Location: Hybrid/On-site in New York or Austin. Must have legal authorization to work in the US.

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Own technical discovery and translate customer requirements into scalable AI architectures.
• Build Python prototypes utilizing YOLO, OpenCV, PyTorch, and Docker.
• Design and deploy training and inference workflows across cloud and edge environments (Linux, macOS, Windows).
• Deliver technical demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to move opportunities forward.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve the YOLO ecosystem based on real-world customer feedback.

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency and practical experience with YOLO, OpenCV, PyTorch, and computer vision.
• Experience training, optimizing, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models.
• Comfortable with Docker, Git, REST APIs, Linux, and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver architecture reviews and technical workshops for both technical and executive audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in New York or Austin.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA is strictly required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX, or Jetson edge accelerators.
• Knowledge of MLOps, model monitoring, CI/CD, or observability.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, or integrating OpenAI/Anthropic APIs.
• Open-source contributions or experience supporting developer communities.
