Salary: €6,500–€8,000 net per month

What you will do

• Design and build production ML services including APIs, microservices, and real-time systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers through planning, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure high-load system scalability and reliability.
• Integrate ML models into user-facing applications and define production serving and monitoring practices.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps teams to own the delivery pipeline.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering in a Senior or Lead role.
• Strong commercial proficiency in Python.
• Proven managerial experience leading engineering teams.
• Expertise in system design, microservice architecture, and high-load systems.
• Experience developing APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or gRPC.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Limassol, Cyprus.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time ML systems (ranking, personalization).
• Experience in video streaming or high-throughput platforms.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud/on-prem environments, and MLOps platforms (MLflow, Airflow).
• Experience with feature stores and A/B testing.
