Senior Data Integration Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define data quality requirements and metrics aligned with business and engineering needs.
• Design data schemas and models and onboard new data sources.
• Monitor production data quality through alerts, dashboards, and SLA tracking.
• Investigate and resolve data incidents across the full data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to drive quality improvements.
• Expand automated data quality coverage.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, DataOps, or a Data Quality role.
• Proficiency in data profiling, analysis, and identifying anomalies, drift, and duplicates.
• Experience with data pipelines (ETL, Streaming, or Batch).
• Solid understanding of JSON, YAML, APIs, and backend services.
• Comfortable with Linux command line and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab).
• English: B2+ proficiency (reading and written communication) required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the finance, trading, or investments domain (brokers, crypto exchanges).
• Familiarity with hirify.global as a product.
• Experience with Kafka, streaming data pipelines, or data observability platforms.
• Experience with AI tools and workflows.
• Python skills for automated data quality checks.
