Frontend Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Developing the frontend for Alternative Payment Methods (APM) integration across internal admin panels and merchant hubs with an accent on SPA architecture and API contract design. Focus on building frontend conventions from scratch and optimizing the payer-facing checkout experience.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the SPA that powers the APM experience in Hub and Olimp panels.
• Integrate new Alternative Payment Methods into the Payment Form and checkout flow.
• Collaborate with Go backend engineers to shape Buf/Connect RPC contracts.
• Establish frontend patterns, tooling, and review practices for the team.
• Improve UI/UX for merchant configuration and management of APM setups.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional experience building applications with React and TypeScript.
• Comfortable working with SPA architecture and building UI from scratch.
• Ability to read and reason about API contracts (REST, RPC) and collaborate with backend engineers.
• Strong ownership and independence in driving projects and technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Protobuf, Buf, or gRPC-style typed API contracts.
• Familiarity with BFF patterns and Node.js-based RPC layers like tRPC.
• Exposure to payments, fintech, or conversion-sensitive UI.
• Experience setting up frontend architecture or conventions for a new team.
