TL;DR
Lead Front-End Developer - Design System (React): Owning the architecture and evolution of a cross-platform design system built with React, React Native, and Angular, with an accent on component APIs, theming, token architecture, and scalable delivery. What you will do
- Own the technical direction, repository structure, component APIs, theming, token architecture, versioning, and distribution strategy for the design system.
- Define coding standards, code review practices, testing strategy, release processes, and engineering quality criteria.
- Mentor front-end engineers, lead technical hiring, and develop team capability.
- Translate the Design System Manager's roadmap into a realistic technical plan and sequencing.
- Build RFC and contribution processes, migration guides, codemods, lint rules, and starter kits to increase adoption across product teams.
- Establish adoption telemetry and make WCAG 2.2 AA and EAA conformance a structural property of the system.
Requirements
- 8+ years of front-end engineering experience, including 2+ years working on a design system or shared UI platform used by multiple teams.
- Proven ownership of architecture and engineering standards for a codebase used by other engineers.
- Strong expertise in at least two of React, React Native, and Angular.
- Strong TypeScript, modern CSS architecture, theming, cross-platform distribution, and multi-brand token architecture skills.
- Experience with Figma-to-code pipelines, semantic versioning, backward compatibility, deprecation strategies, monorepo tooling, and automated releases.
- Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.2, ARIA authoring practices, and assistive technology testing.

- Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose, or SwiftUI experience.
- Public or open-source design system experience.
- Developer experience or platform engineering background.
- Payments or B2B SaaS experience.
